EMEhealth: clinical management app for emergency departments (Medical Record + Order Management + Real Time Communication)

Posted by Pablo Pazos Gutierrez on April 14, 2020, 8:45 am

We are presenting EMEhealth, a system developed by CaboLabs focused on Emergency Departments.

The main goal of this tool is to allow clinicians, nurses and paramedics to know what is currently happening in the Emergency Deparmet, and improve communication between members of the health care team.

EMEhealth has two features worth mentioning: order management (allows to know the status of each order at any moment), and the real time communication inside the application (like WhatsApp but integrated into the clinical record).

With this we look for accelerating clinical processes, and avoid unnecessary waiting time and delays. And, at the same time, prevents errors and forgetting to perform actions, tasks or procedures.

EMEhealth was designed to work on desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices. Which allows clinicians and specialists to access and evaluate cases remotely, gaining previous time for urgent cases.

At this moment we are coordinating demonstrations of the system with many hospitals, and allowing clinicians to access the trial version to get early feedback and ideas for improving the app.

Our goal for 2020 is to execute a pilot in one hospital, to validate the app on field, and improve it accordingly to the needs of each hospital.

If you are interested, we can coordinate a video-conference call to show you the system live, and you can ask us all the questions you have.
